im going to be taking a drug test in one week for advancement within the company i work for.a complete physical and drug screen is required.im taking buprenorphine(suboxone) as needed (1-2 doses weekly).i am also taking alprazolam 1mg as needed to help me get to sleep at night.i purchased the last of my suboxone a few months ago and it has lasted me until now.im wondering if everything is going to be cool with the lab regarding the date the script was filled.should i be upfront and provide them with the most information i can or should i lay low and wait and see what comes up?any experiences or helpful comments would be great.thanks!
Is a prescription still valid for a drug test when it was filled 5 mo. ago?

The benzo most likely will show up 7-10 days, u may as well do so that day if u have a script of blue footballs
Well if your screen went well maybe you can help me. I am pretty sure I will get hired on at a company in a couple days, and I will have to go take a UA that day. I have been prescribed adderall and klonopin since I was 18 and now I’m 36, so I have consistent records month to month listing my medical at pharmacy. However, the last time I filled my adderall was 6-7 months ago. In that 7 month period I never got a refill. There is still 20 or so pills in that bottle. I am concern with the validity of showing the UA lab my bottles and not accepting it valid proof that I take this medication. I just tried to go 7 months without taking any adderall, A. Because I was unemployed and couldn’t afford to pay the doctor visit and then fill my adderall which all together is roughly 250$, and now I will have the means to get back on a regular routine of taking my medications.
I need them to focus and taking one worked because I was able to ace my interview, and focus the task at hand. I just don’t know if all those pharmacy print outs and a bottle with 20 pills dated 6/2017 are credible enough to convey that I have and will be on this medication daily now that I can afford to get refills month to month with this new job. So if you or anyone know anything please let me know.
absolutely still valid.if you have to go the pharmacy and get print outs. xanax stays in your system for 5-7 days.if you have a scrip for them also get the printouts for all the meds that may show up in your system.some human resources want to have a copy of your meds on file.ask befor you take the urine.a supervisor from h/r should know the protocols... pot is tuff unless you have a script for it.good luck...
Don;t believe the 5-7 days,,plz direct me to a website that will prove it !!
I would never tell any employer that your'e on some sort of drug ,even Zoloft
not in this economy now, only my opinian...
thanks to everyone who took the time to answer. just wanted to say that the drug screen went well. i had my prescription bottles out and ready to hand to the tech that was collecting the samples and he said he didnt need to see them, that the lab will be contacting me if any information is needed regarding the prescription medications. when i arrived home i glanced at the receipt i was given for submitting the urine sample and noticed it was a baisic 5 pannel test..meaning the buprenorphine (in a special drug detection bracket all by itself) and alprazolam (not tested for in a 5 pannel test, i think it is in a 10 pannel) will most likely not even come up. anyone, correct me if im wrong but thats what i read on my receipt.
thanks again to everyone.
bbrraaap.
So if I had a xanax prescription from January had it switched to Klonopine in February and still have the xanax I can legally take it?
As far as i no it's good for one year. Provide them with the most information be up front and onist. To sleep at night alprazolam not the best you could do better alprazolam is very adicking be carfull. GOOD LUCK.
The Bupenorphine will only show if they run a panel specifically for it.If they do run a panel for it, you prescription should be checked to see if you used it according to the directions, which says 1 to 2 doses per week, if I read this correctly. Most jobs don't check for bupenorphine, even most of the court systems don't. I agree with the above poster except for the 2 days on the benzo, it may show for longer than the 2 days. I have had it show for longer than that. Not trying to argue with anyone, just want people to know it can show up for longer.
Thx Patti,, I don't know it all,but most pills disapear in 2 days,Ex ,I dont know,My doc always finds Benzo's,but I am Prescibed 1 bar or 2mg everyday,I have Post Trumatic Stress synd... Cocaine 2 days or less,Marijana I mentioned... Military has given me every test & employers.Never in the court system, thank God,Good Luck everyone,,Peace
Maybe my recovery center had some kind of special test or my body was just slow to metabolize this, I am leaning toward a special test. When I first went there, it picked up stuff I swear I hadn't taken for a week. Others had a similar experience and we were all pretty freaked out. The counselor also said that drug test could often be flawed and if so, likely the whole batch was bad. She used herself to check the batch if someone tested positive and was emphatic they hadn't taken it. I read on here all the time where someone tests positive for something they didn't take and some of the pain management people test negative for stuff they did take.
Don't believe suboxone will show ,but zanax will stop it for 2 days, won't show ,Marijaina always shows up to 5 weeks, unless u flush with Puriclean.com ck the site if u need it,,good Luck
