Im prescribed subutex why do you have to dissolve it under your tongue does it really make a differ difference cant you just swallow it like any other pill

It is in the way they designed the tablets and films, if you swallow it, it will NOT work. If you hate the taste, you can use a mint or candy at the same time, just try to not swallow a whole lot while it is still dissolving. Pattishan
