I got prescribed Methylphenidate er 36 mg for adhd. It's a round white pill with tl 708 written on it, and also has a tiny hole in the middle, some have it in front and some on the back. The pill bottle says that it's from Trigen Laboratories however when I went to their website it wasn't there and when I searched Vertical Pharmaceutical it wasn't there either and not at Avista Capital partners either. I searched everywhere for it and can't find it. I'm searching for it because it didn't help at all with my adhd
Identify pill with 'tl 708' imprint?

Yes, this pill is a generic form of Concerta 36mg but, FYI, it may not be as effective as Concerta or other good generics like ones made by Actavis.
Believe it or not, there is a difference between round and oval methylphenidate ER pills. The brand Concerta is an oval-shaped pill. The round-shaped generic pills are made differently and are not necessarily comparable or as effective as Concerta for treating ADHD.
Personally I noticed a significant difference when my pharmacy switched me to this generic from the Actavis generic I’d been taking for years. When I told my doc my pills looked different he was pretty annoyed with my pharmacist and explained that I should only taking the oval-shaped generic, imprinted with “Alza 36”. Now that I’ve switched back I feel much better.
So, my advice is to talk to your doctor AND your pharmacist. I hope this is helpful. Best of luck.
This pill with imprint "TL708" is White, Round and has been identified as Methylphenidate hydrochloride extended-release 36 mg. It is supplied by Trigen Laboratories, LLC.
Methylphenidate is used in the treatment of adhd; narcolepsy; depression; severe mood dysregulation; sleep paralysis (and more), and belongs to the drug class CNS stimulants. Regretfully there is no image of the pill.
