And is the only difference between percocet, endocet and vicodin a brandname? Are they all pills containing hydro or oxy codone? Thanks, in advance, for your help with this.
I don't understand the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone. Is one stronger than the other?

The rescheduling occurred in 2016. Now Oxycodone and Hydrocodone are Schedule II. Oxycodone is 1.5 times stronger than hydrocodone.
For me oxycodone is stronger and more effective than hydrocodone and has less side effects. Hydrocodone makes me nauseous and sometimes. gives me a headache. Oxycodone never gives me a rebound headache
Percocet is a stronger drug then Vicodin so if you're taking Vicodin 5 / 325 or Percocet 5 / 325 Percocet would be a stronger medication. That being said some people believe Vicodin 10 / 325 is stronger than the Percocet 5 / 325. Hope this helps you
There's an apparent conflict between the two parts of your answer.
It is true that oxycodone (Percocet) is more potent than hydrocodone (Vicodin)—approximately 1.5 times more potent per milligram. Furthermore, just to be clear, hydrocodone 10 mg is just slightly 'stronger' than oxycodone 5 mg.
For reference, hydrocodone 10 mg ≍ oxycodone 6.67 mg; oxycodone 5 mg ≍ hydrocodone 7.5 mg.
Be well.
endocet and percocet have a different amoutn of Oxycodone and tylenol... oxy is stronger than hydrocodone/vicodin/lortab... vicodin and lortab are both hydrocodone with tylenol with different amounts in each'
Oxy is a c2 whil hydro is a c3 (this is classified by abuse potential)
Oxydodone and oxycontin are different things, correct? Oxcodone is an active ingredient in some drugs and oxycontin is a brand name of slow releasing pain med? Am I correct?
correct Oxycontin is sustained release (also called Extended Release -ER- and XR) and im pretty sure that this is something that doesnt have Tylenol if its oxycontin (not 100 % on this). but its still oxycodone as the main drug
OxyCodone is Far more abusive than HyDroCodone while acting as well being Far More effective is probably not exactly what triggers the portion/Point at which it is then being abused by So many!!! Once the Oxycodone has built up and accumulated thuought ones bloodstream it therefore then becomes relluctantly dependent. Until you rely entirely on the OxyCodone for proper funtion of the Entire body's system. After abusing every day as well as just using and not abusing you eventually run out and are unable to gain possession of the Drug for an excrusiating period of time! !!! That of being either one day to two weeks to even a month! Starting from that first day all the way to even a month will be ones Most Miserable experience Ever! !!! You Lack energy Foremost followed by severe depression and Sickness accompanied by loose bowell control/ diarreah and days without any sleep or rest! It'll take a minimum of 2 months to 3 for recooperation unless you taper down responsably
you are correct oxycontin has no tylenol it it
Oxycodone contains no acetaminophen (Tylenol).
In 2014, the DEA rescheduled any hydrocodone-containing products from Schedule III to Schedule II, placing both hydrocodone and oxycodone in the same classification.
Be well.
