I am prescribed xanax and I run out early often because my aunt is prescribed the same dose, I get the 2mg bars, she recently gave me a few that looked like regular bars, but they said ONAX with 2 on the other side. Exactly the same as the brand name xanax, but they said ONAX. I looked them up on another site and apparently they are made by ocean pharmaceuticals and made in Pakistan. They didn't have the typical xanax taste, but did somewhat. Does anyone know of these? Are they safe to take? Anyone who could help would be great! Thank you!

They, and similar products, are made in foreign countries that do not regulate pharmaceuticals as far as safety, uniformity, and efficacy as they are in other countries such as the U.S.
If you don't mind not knowing the dosage or ingredients, and a few rat hairs, feel free... at your own risk.

They are half real if that makes sense there is not A full 2mg in each onax pill and if she got them from an actual drugstore I would report them because they don't send those to pharmacys in the states

I don't know where everyone is from, but here in the US, Alprazolam only comes in a 3mg long acting formulation and these tend to be round from what I've seen but I know there's a whole lot of generics that could look like practically anything out there and when broken tend to not be quite as long acting and kick in faster and harder, but the highest instant release formulation has been the 2mg "bars" for years and was still last time I checked, of course that was probably about 2 or 3 years ago. They come with 2 and 3 scores depending on your brand so they can be broken into 4 .5mg pieces or 3 .667mg pieces.

I've taken the Onax bars before. They have the same 2 milligrams of alprazolam as Xanax bars. The difference is in the inactive ingredients, which account for the taste difference.
They're as safe as Xanax. I was taking one twice a day for two months before getting my prescription switched to klonopin, and had no adverse effects.

I know this is an old post but I have recently been getting these and let me tell you something... At first i thought they were fake buy These things I fell like are way stronger then the regular xanax. It could just be a mind thing but dannngggg these things have blown my mind and got me way more tore up then I have ever been off of any kind of bar. When I take a full one its like taking 1 & 1/2 of the regulars Idk why but dangggg I will say I do love these ones alot!!! Gluck n I know there have been tons of fake bars going around lately & i have even had the "real deal" yellow ones that were fake or should i say tyey were somewhat real but someone press n made them in the homebi guess n they just went as strong it was like onlyba quarter of a bar smashed n pressed with yellow poward. Never thought I would see the day when people made fake yellows crazzzzyyy. I'm prescribed to XANAX or alphazolam (genric form and name) I have had almost every 2mg xanax "bar" genric and the non genric ome that says XANAX on the front and the number "2" Obviously for the MG dosage. Also I started on 1mg xanax aka blue footballs usually with the code I perfer G3721 on front side and just a groove or ridge in the back for easy cutting in halfs. I too have had the unfortunate ONAX 2mg bars.
YES! They are NOT american made like all the rest of the xanax aka alphazolam here in the US. They are Pakistans form of xanax which is not completely xanax but does have SOME qualities just like xanax (american made aka FDA Approved)
I've tried them 2 or 3 times and was very dissapointed because they have no fda or are fda regulated like the USA has some of those ONAX are weaker than others hints NO FDA approval. In Mexico u can also get these ONAX n is where I came to find out they had come from. So just lije Mexico NO FDA to regulate at all for prescription medication kinda Y u can go a lil hope n the wall pharmacy in Mexico n purchase pills considered NARCOTICS SUCH HAS XANAX,VICODIN,OXYCOTTON,ETC. BUT AGAIN NO FDA SO I WOULDN'T TRUST IT. Might take more than usual cause u think they're not working fully and OD or vice versa u take ur recommended amount and nothing happens I know cauze it's happen to me not the OD but thinking oh these 2 ONAX I domt feel let me take another 1 or 2 n yaaaa then u figure out u were wrong. So I would never buy or take ONAX pills again!

I have been take xanax bars since I was 14 years old I am now 27, I just recently came across these onax bars and let me tell you... They work! I usually take a quarter of the bar at a time and it just makes me feel normal but when I took a quarter of the onax bar... It felt like a took a whole xanax bar so whoever tells u they don't work they have not takin one. So these bars last so much longer then the regular xanax do to how much stronger they are. They are safe and I highly recommend them especially if U are worried on becoming dependent because u don't have to take as much and u can wait a lot longer before u need to take another one.

And since u usualy have one brand name and many many generics though the larger pharma companies usually tend to drown out the generic markets, thers always multiple versions so everyone tends to hav their opinions favorites. I have took them and in fact took 3x as many as usual abd nothing. From what I've found out some people think they are getting off on them and other are getting a placebo effect. Lame and getting later. Better stay clear of them.

It oesnt work at all and is being sold from Pakistan and shipped from Pakistanis in the uK.

I know that to not be true. However, the dosage is whatever it is. Maybe 1, maybe 3. It has the right taste but is gritty and weird.

If your pharmacy is buying their products from any middleastern country (pakistan, india, iran), china or a few of the other asian countries ur best bet it to change pharmacies. This country is currently being flooded with fake Rx pills especialy in the oxycodone and benzodiazapine area and these are the countries they are coming from. A method they use for the benzos like xanax is to use a low grade benzodiazapine that's actualy legal but not very well know. The majority of it is coming from russia I believe so u can feel like ur still taking a valium or whatever but the effects are not as strong and will not help other than idiopathic mental effects of "knowing" u took a ton of valium. Plus there are different types of generic xanax out there, I've been on the stix(as we call them here) for a few years now and they're alwayse long and thin but everything else can change.
I've had ones with 4 sections(3 scores) on one side and 4 sections(3 scores) on both sides, and before these my 2mg xanax only had 3 sections(2 scores), these I received most often and became used too. I've been told the yellow ones are XE or extended release but my doctors hav given me extended release xanax and they're alwayse round tabs even the 2 and 4 mg and that's what my doc alwayse said. U should alwayse be careful buying meds off the net or over seas cause I think its a 75% chance of bein fake and or nowwhere near the correct strength. And remember pharmacists are humans jus like u or me in the same economy so if they're buyin their product outside the states its to save and make more money even if its knowingly fake and potentialy lethal. Pharmacists lose their licenses constantly because they normaly aren't takin their own product and would rather save and make more money then care for your pain, problems, and/or ailments. Remember pharmacies close everyday for "unknown" reasons and in a society where were all heavily medicated and constantly becoming more and more dependent on them, a pharmacy closing usualy means they were cought or horrible quality control

The yellow 2mg alprazolam (xanax) are just the regular immediate-release xanax they are just manufactured by Activis pharmaceuticals. In the US you can usually find these at Wal-Mart and Walgreens Pharmacies. If I get my 2mg alprazolam at Rite Aid or a Kroger Pharmacy they are typically the skinny white bars, although when I filled a Rx at Kroger back in June 2013 they were still the white sticks but a little wider than what I had gotten there before and the imprint was GG 2 4 9 and were manufactured by Sandoz. If I go to CVS Pharmacy where I live in Georgia (Atlanta-area) they are a white, round-shaped pill imprintimprinted with mylan A4 on the front made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. There are also green bars with a A54 LL imprint on them made by ESI Lederli Generics which is also 2mg of alprazolam. All of the ones I have mentioned are all the original immediate-release formula, non are XR or CR.
Different pharmacies order their medications from different pharmaceutical companies that have a license to produce and sell generic xanax, so what pill you get in your Rx bottle really just depends on which pharmacy you choose to use. Unless of course you doctor writes for no generic substitute in which case you will receive a white-rectangular pill with "XANAX" imprinted on the front and the number "2" on the reverse side with each side having 3 scores on them and are made by Pfizer US Pharmaceuticals Group. There are many more different coloured and shaped pills that are 2mg of alprazolam which are all legitimate. Some inactive ingredients may differ slightly, but the main ingredient is still 2mg alprazolam so it usually doesn't matter which one the patient takes as the will receive the same main ingredient for which they were prescribed. Although some people can only best tolerate the brand name medication no matter what it is, if it's xanax or zoloft or risperdol, but that is something to be discussed with an MD or Pharm.D

I've had green 3 section bars and they were 2mgs and extremely good. WIN! But yes, if they're white they'll have a 5 on each section. Those are Buspirone.

Very TRUE!!! Don’t use any pharma getting meds from outside the USA. These places are pressing their own bars other benzos with lower amounts of Active agent or using something totally Different!
Same goes for opioid meds. Specially Roxi 30s ,and any other high demand med and putting Fentanyl instead of the true drugs.
Also, there is not a Bar XR like they were telling you @Ryan

I have been prescribed the 3 mg XR and they are green shape as a Triangle with a round shape in middle where MG is.
Also, 4MG? There is not a legal 4MG Xanax of any type made in USA. I have been on different benzos around 15 years give or take.
My Uncle is a Dr. I am positive there is no 4MG buddy.
Unless you are ordering them from someone who is pressing their own Xanax pills and putting more Alp than normal. Which many ppl are doing these days.
I saw where 1guy made up his own bar press print they were called
Red Devils, the bar was Red contain 5 to 6mg of Alp.
Many ppl buy raw Pure Alp from China or other places for cheap then turn around and make their own Xanax pills. Some BS and others actually legit.
I ll stick with pharma made meds myself.
You can get a brand called Farmapram 2mg bars 90count
They are made in a legit Pharmacy in Mexico.

From what i understand the highest strength xanax they make is the 3mg XR version which is a green triangle with a bubble in the middle, they dont produce 4mg XR or IR in my country. This is the first ive ever heard of ONAX bars, however i will say as someone who has spent some time overseas in afghanistan (which is a bordering country the Pakistan), a very popular benzo that is used is Bromazepam, which is approved for use in most countries and they come in bar form, and are served in 3mg and 6mg formulations, maybe this could be it? I dont know really know, just my thoughts on it, the effects are very similar to alprazolam except that the dose equivilency is something like 6mg of bromazepam is equal to 1mg of alprazolam which doesnt add up to what everyone is saying so who knows. And to clarify i am not saying this is the case and im not saying im right, just a possibility.

I have never gotten medication from Pakistan, but I do know of some people who get their drugs from overseas so to get them cheaper. I suspect your aunt is also doing this to get hers cheaper. They most likely are the same drug as far as the active ingredient but you never know for sure as those countries may not have the strict laws that we have here. If your aunt is taking and she responds ok to the medication you are probably fine to take.
I must ask if you have a problem with the xanax such that you run out early? Do you need a dosage adjustment from the doctor or could you be abusing them? Do be careful taking more than the prescribed amount of the xanax. You run an increased risk of addiction when you do this.

While I thank you for your concern, it isn't me who has the abuse issues, nor my aunt, rather friends of the family who for some reason we cannot say no to when they beg us for one because of their "panic disorder" we know we shouldn't but when its practically family, its hard to say no. So because she can't help but hand them out, I feel like I can't let her go without, because I know what it's like. Anyhow, thanks, and hopefully there is SOMEONE out there who has taken them personally. But I suppose you're right, my aunt wouldn't give it to me if she was unsure of what it was. Again, thanks a lot!

I have been on bars for 5 years... just the other day i came across these onax pills. I chewed one up, taste just like a bar and i was way more faded off 1 than i was off of 2gg bars. I had both and was able to tell the difference and i think the onax is stronger regardless. but hey thats my 2 cents

I also would like to add that even here in the USA, regardless of what the FDA tells us, generic forms of drugs have been found to use inactive ingredients that supposedly have no side effects, but daily I read about drugs that are not up to par when compared to the name brand. I have bought meds over seas as well online and in person... I live like an hour from Mexico. I try to buy the Pharmaceutical Co.'s that are American owned ad manufacture in Mexico, and these are normally safe. Other times, when $ was an issue, I had to buy the cheapest, Mexican made by Mexican Pharmaceutical co's. These have not always been consistent. Finally, I agree with the concern the previous person has, which was dependency on Benzodiazepines. I have been fighting it for years, and cold turkey w/d, or withdraw at All is dangerous.I have recently stayed with Clonipin. It's long acting so abuse potential is less, and 1 or 2 1mg. Tablet holds me all day.
Xanax builds up a tolerance so fast. I have found that a small script PRN monthly, taking when anxiety is out of control works best. That way the drug hasn't built up a tolerance and I get what it was intended for. I did not mean to go off on a tangent, I just love educating myself on these topics. I have been on xanax for 7 years and 3 times I ran out and 3 times I went into a seizure. Xanax is the worst thing to withdrawl from. I have gone cold turkey from Herion and the xanax w/d's are 10 times worse.

I get prescibed 1 mg footballs and I need them from time to time. This month was more often than not. I ran out and got the ONAX bars from a guy I met on craigslist. I was very suspicious but tried it anyway. My anxiety was gone and I felt great but the feeling was far more intense than if I took 2 footballs. Why does 2mg of alprazolam differ in intesity from 1 manufacturer to another?

Onax is the only brand of alprazolam I will buy from PK. Xanax is available, though not with the usual 'Upjohn 90' imprint, it actually says 'Xanax 1.0' so easy to spot; they are made by Parke Davis, to whom Pfizer/Upjohn have given a licence but are awful, feeling around half strength to me.
Onax 1mg and especially the 2mg bars are the best med I know from that country, cheap, come in green plastic bottles, sealed, and 4mg absolutely melts me so now I limit myself to 2mg. I was only going by the strength of all other PK meds I know... Buy these with confidence and pay a average of $0.85-95 per bar. Which is still a huge profit for the vendor.
