I love the positive side of Mounjaro! I have lost weight and want to continue. I have had terrible diarrhea for 10 days that began after the third injection. It's so bad and immediate, that I am afraid to leave the house. Does anyone have this issue? Has your body adjusted? I don't want to stop this medication, but if this continues, I can't live like this.
How can I manage Mounjaro side effects?

From what I’ve gathered, gastrointestinal side effects like diarrhea appear to be a common occurrence while taking Mounjaro.
You can also refer to the manufacturer’s official website for Mounjaro, where they do actually list diarrhea as a common side effect:
The manufacturer goes on to note that you should contact your doctor in the event that any particular side effects don’t go away on their own. While my thinking is that certain side effects may be dose-dependent, some individuals may simply be more sensitive than others when it comes to their severity or tolerance to various symptoms, so perhaps it may be worth discussing other dosage options with your doctor before calling it quits.
