Medication reactions vary widely among individuals due to factors like dosage, duration of use, and personal traits. A gradual taper during withdrawal is advisable for a safer transition. Consulting health care professionals or pharmacists before making significant changes ensures a personalized and safer approach.

Hello,
First you should kno and understand that no two people are the same when it comes to how the/your body(s) will react to or not react to all different medications and their generic counterparts. Things to consider is dosage, time taking (days, months, years) and time passed since last dose. All these factors and more may all play a part differently in the slightest or serverness to each person's system.

Just so you are aware of these possibilities do I even mention it. You may have a weak or robust system depending on your own personality. Like, are you strong-willed or perhaps depended more so on these types of medicines. You should withdraw at a very slow Tapper no matter what to ensure the best possible outcome. Always consult your health care professional or your pharmacist before any drastically different change.

Best regards,

Mine wasn't at all when I had to discontinue due to an unrelated medical problem. I couldn't wait until I was able to start it again for my depression and pain.

Tapering off Cymbalta was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I didn’t recognize who I had become because of all the side effects from this medication. I wasn’t able to make good choices or decisions while taking or tapering off Cymbalta. I did some things during this time that I regret but I’ve left them in the past and I’ve moved on. Thankfully I am able to make decisions again without having to get help from my family and friends. I’m taking back the years I lost because of Cymbalta’s side effects and withdrawals.

I withdrew off of Cymbalta, slowly and under a doctors supervision. It was one of the best things I’ve ever done. It is not an easy process but well worth it. I discovered many side effects that Cymbalta had been causing after it was out of my system.
One of the first things that I was so thankful for, was that I finally felt like Me! My thoughts, feelings and judgement were clear. I truly felt better than I had since I had started taking it.
Best wishes for you!
