Discontinuing clonazepam or any other medication should be done under the supervision of a doctor, as stopping it on your own can cause serious problems, including seizures and other abnormal symptoms.
If you have the desire to stop taking clonazepam, be sure to discuss this with your doctor. Your doctor will be able to assess your current condition, your level of dependence on the drug, and develop a plan to gradually reduce your dose (typically a "dose reduction type" method).
Sudden discontinuation of clonazepam can cause cancellation symptoms such as insomnia, anxiety, irritability, muscle cramps, and other unpleasantness. Also, serious complications can occur if discontinued on your own.
Do not try to solve this issue on your own. Only your doctor can provide you with an appropriate and safe plan to discontinue clonazepam, taking into account your health and individual characteristics.

You must stop gradually under medical supervision. Have your Dr. help you with a discontinuation schedule in order to minimize any withdrawal symptoms that may or may not affect you.
I stopped cold turkey once the same dose, thinking 1 mg. would do nothing, I was absolutely wrong. Remember everyone reacts differently to medications.
Always consult with your DR. 1srt.
