Has anyone had a problem with low heart rate while taking this drug? I only take it at night but heart rate drops to less than 50 and cardiologist is concerned but doesnt think it is the med.

I’ve been on clonazepam for over 20 years and I too have noticed a drop in heart rate if I take too much. It feels like I can feel my pulse slow and it scares me a little but yes I think it can slow the heart rate, and I’ve noticed it way more with age (43) and dose increase

Yes, the Clonazepam can lower the heart rate. I am now 67 and my heart rate runs in the uppers 50's to mid 60's. Even when I took a lower dose many years back, it ran low. Not a bad thing.
Are you still taking the New Teva 2mg? You gave me advise last Oct to give it at least 2 weeks. I was taking the Roche and realized it was very potent and it was giving me panic attacks, which I never had the Teva. I am now switching directly over from the Roche to Teva. Night 3 has been pretty bad. Having withdrawals, but I believe it is the strength change. I am going to try to hang in there for 2 weeks like you advised. I know it is a down dose for sure. I also got .5mg Teva back in January to take with the Roche as I was crushing and weighing.
My dose now is in all total for the day 3.75mg up from 3.25mg. All I want is to get stabile again and the Roche was not cutting it.
BTY, the Roche really made me tired and lowered my pulse. I also felt very dizzy.

I have been taking clonazepam for panic and anxiety for some years now it helps me to sleep. And yes it definitely lowers your heart rate. MY heart rate goes down to between 55 and 60. My cardiologist knows about it. I take 1mg of clonazepam. My heart rate during the day averages about 68 -75.
