Ok so I'm 13 female from the uk and I have been suffering from a sore throt for the past 3days and to make it worse, I have had a headache for the past 2 days. However, whenever I move my eyes left to right or up and down or even rub them, they hurt! I haven't had any accidents recently and I have only had one paracetamol, cough medicine and a pack of cough sweets. Please help. Thank in advance!

Hello. I do hope you have seen a doctor by now. I recall that there are some very serious conditions when the eyes are affected in the way you report. Please let us know how you are doing. Karen
Sounds like a sinus causing it to me, or allergy.
Hope you got checked out with your Doctor.
Dear Dais990,
I hate to disagree with the other posters, but I would tend to believe you have a sinus infection. Your throat is likely sore from sinus drainage. When my sinus cavities are full, I will develop a headache and the painful condition with my eyes, exactly like you've described. You should make a trip to your Dr to be prescribed an antibiotic. If you could get a decongestant from your local pharmacy or drugstore, that would probably help you immensely. I'm not sure of your laws in the UK, but here in the US you have to be 18 to buy a decongestant, so you may have to have an adult do that for you. I hope this helps and that you feel much better soon. :)

I was headed to the same thing you thought Lisa.
I agree with Lisa too
It is also a possibility that you have a strep infection. Strep throat is often accompanied by a bad headache. You need to see your doctor.
Thanks Ladies! :)

Good idea Lisa!
Hi, the headache and problems with your eyes sound like migrane symptoms. It could be a coincidence that you have the sore throat at the same time. Make an appointment with your doctor to discuss the possibility of migranes. In the meantime, paracetamol will help as well as ibuprofen (as long as you are not sensitive to it). Or Daynurse/Nightnurse, these will help treat all of your symptoms, but don't take at the same time as paracetamol as they already contain it.
Could be the flu that is going around like mad! It's going on two weeks for me TOMORROW! But I agree with Delila. Go get checked for migraines. Also check with your eye doctor, as well. Let us know!
Have you had these type of headaches before & have you had migraines before?
I get migraines often. I don't have a sore throat and my nose is clear. My eyes hurt to move them and to touch. They are hot to touch and my temp goes up and down. When I close my eyes it hurts and I see firework like lights and once in a while in pure darkness I close my eyes and it looks as there is a light on so I open them and it's dark. So as of now I am in pain and head hurts on the front of head and eyes are swollen and sore
