addult,
The price hopefully ahs since then gone down. It also depends on the insuranse you have. The only difference you might notice is more of a rush in the IR (Imedieate Release). You can feel when the medication starts working, and when its not. Normally I'll drink a few cups of coffee in the morning skip my first dose, take the first pill at about 2 PM wait until about 6pm to take another and if I feel I need another one I'll take it around 8PM. I'm perscribed 20MG 3x a day and will split the 20 MG pills in half. Works for me and the Rx last longer :)
Yes... I have been on both the regular and now the xr. The pros of the XR is that you don't have to worry about popping 8 pills a day. The cons are that if you need to settle down, or feel tweaked at all, you pretty much have to wait until the next day to feel normal again.
Based on that, I wish I were on the regular kind just so I would have some control over it, but my doc doesn't prescribe it for the abuse potential. Go figure. Good luck!
I was on a low dose 5mg adderall ir untill I had trouble finding it for manufacturing reasons. I was switched to 10mg xr. I go back and forth on which I liked better. I have seen many posters say they prefer taking more than one (some said several) ir release a day as opposed to the xr. I would say it is probably worth at least giving it a try.
hello ""M"", I believe the difference is the xr's are time acting/releasing in your body over a longer time frame
I take resperdall
