Hi, Allie!
I've been taking methylphenidate for several years. I've probably used at least a dozen different generics and have never noticed any difference at all in their efficacy.
Different manufacturers use different inert ingredients which may not agree with some individual's tolerance so it might be a matter of finding the one that works well for you.
But in my experience there's little if any difference between them.

Thank you for responding. I have tried 2 generics. Both did not do anything for my symptoms. Brand works best for me but my insurance will no longer pay for it. It is quite expensive out of pocket.
