Surgical check-in is 1:00 P.M. PST. I wasn't allowed to eat after midnight. I usually take my first dose (out of 3) at 5:00 but I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. I took my first dose at 8:00. Will taking Gab and not eating increase the drowsiness side effect?

Good luck- you should be fine. Before they sedate you, they ask about meds-what you took- So be good- take care of yourself. Good luck

Hi Nikki ..I take Lyrica ... same as Gab..I always take my morning dose in an empty stomach ..I don't experience drowsiness at all. I hope this helps! I wish you well. I hope your surgery and recovery goes well.
