Answers
Hi, shelley!
Technically, gabapentin is an anticonvulsant medication although it's thought to possibly have some anti-inflammatory effects. It's not classified as a non-steroidal inflammatory drug like aspirin or ibuprofen.
It's probably safe to take if prescribed by a doctor who is aware of your medical history and knows all other medications you may be taking. Always check with your doctor first.
