.counter human drug that can .. be substituted? my little dog throws up a tiny bit of mucas or yellow foam unless I give him at least 1/4 tablet of cerena 16 mg. every night. Ive tried all different high quality foods. been doing this for two months now
For dogs what does the drug cerenia treat? is there a cheaper over the counter human drug that can?

pschen30, Cerenia has been a human drug for some time it has just recently been approved by the FDA to prevent vomiting in dogs, you could use almost any Otc vomit relief med. for your dog but then you have to figure out the weight factor and any side effects that may be more hurtful than helpful. Cerenia is only prescribed for severe chronic vomiting in dogs.. If I was you I would just bite the bullet and spend the money..you know what they say about man's best friend and all. Animals are just bundles of love wrapped up in fur. Fall Queen
