It doesn't have that listed as a side effect. There are causes for diabetes other then being overweight.

Never having had high blood sugar before until 3 years ago when I started Letrozole, 2.5 mg daily I am at 126 and have been for quite awhile. Some readings lower(106) and high of 131.
