Thanks for your replies. Has anyone had both eyes injected at the same time and what was the experience?

I've been getting eyelea injections in both eyes for 2 years. It's only after the last 3 injections since February 2020 that I have had serious pain in both eyes about 6 hours after injection lasting about 14-16 hours. A severe burning sensation with copious watering from the eyes. Can't even open them. I don't know what has changed. Medication perhaps. I had to insist lately that the doctor not use the "gel" antiseptic prior to injection since that application tends to prolong and exacerbate the pain. Yesterday, they just used the iodine antiseptic but the pain was as above.
Everyone is different but mine was fine in about 24hrs after injection
From what I've read the pain lasts only a day or two, check with your eye specialist.
