I know drinking alcohol is not recommended with this med. I do not abuse it but do enjoy have a few drinks in the evening on the weekend. What are others experiences with this while taking Wellbutrin XL? I have not started it yet and just wanted some input.

Hi, Jessss!
I take bupropion (Wellbutrin generic) but I don't drink anyway. Some people can tolerate some social drinking but it can be a disaster for others. I hate to be a downer but my sister crashed her car after a couple of drinks at a party.
I'd suggest you give it a try at first in a safe environment to see how it affects you.
