I am not going in for any procedures. I'm just taking the medication and I can't remember if my doctor told me if I can have food with it or not. If not how long do I have to wait between taking it and eating? Please don't give me any answers about colonoscopy procedures, I am not getting one and those are the only answers I can find.
Can I eat food with polyethylene glycol 3350 nf? (No procedures)?

Absolutely! But if it's in powder form, you must follow the instructions and mix it with water. In other words, don't be sprinkling the powder on your food. I would say that it is even good to have some food or at least some food in your stomach when you take your polyethylene glycol 3350.
I take polydextrose, and I cannot take it on an empty stomach. So my first dose in the morning I always take with food, and then my doses later in the day I don't worry about food because there is already food in my stomach.
I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist said you can eat anytime. If you are not on thyroid meds or iron supplements.
What can you eat when tacking polyethylene
My doctor has had me on a regiment of polyethylene glycol for 6 months now he suggested I take it in the morning when I wake up before I eat and then wait at least an hour to eat after I drink it and it's been working smooth for 5 and 1/2 months I hope this will help you
All the info I could find refers to the procedure. I suggest you ask your Pharmacist.
Example:
It is best if you do not eat any solid food for 3 to 4 hours before you start using this medicine. You must not eat anything for 2 hours before starting to use this medicine. Once you drink your first dose of medicine, do not eat anything until after you are finished with your test.
