Generally its not recommended to drink beer or alcohol when taking meds for the heart or to lower blood pressure as beer or alcohol elevates the blood pressure levels.
In moderation, maybe a pint of beer would be ok, however please do check with the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med for more accurate info.
