Our dog (and love of our life) a beagle with eye lense problems is on flurbiprofen (I believe also called Ocufen) It may have been discontinued. We need similar or an alternative or if it's now called something else. We have a prescription (it's an eyedrop solution) and will have no problem getting a new prescription for something else. Thanks Don Barb (and our love dog Bertha)
Our dog is on prescription Flurbiprofen (I believe it's also Ocufen). No one seems to have it?

First of all I love animals, specially dogs, having said Flurbiprofen belongs to the drug class of NSAID (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
Flurbiprofen is the generic of Ansaid which is the brand name of this med.

If you can not find the medication for your loved one, here is a list of NSAID (same drug class) which you may discuss with your Veterinarian, although the medication of your beagle is on this list:

Did some more research and found the following:
"Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using other medicines for pain, fever, swelling, or cold/flu symptoms. They may contain ingredients similar to flurbiprofen (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, or naproxen)."

I am terribly sorry and please accept my apologies, just realized you need an ophthalmic anti-inflammatory medication.
Ocufen (flurbiprofen) belongs to the drug class of Ophthalmic anti-inflammatory agents.

Here is a list of medications of the same drug class of Ocufen (flurbiprofen) you may want to discuss with your Veterinarian:

Once again my deepest apologies, masso
