I took the prescription two days ago and the doctor gave me one more to take four days later. My symptoms seem to have disappeared already. When is it safe to have sex again?
I took Diflucan for a yeast infection, when is it safe to have sex again?

artgirl1995; EVEN if symptoms seem to be gone make sure you take the other as prescribed then 24 hours would be safe to have sex again. But to be extra careful have him wear a condom.men can get the yeast infections too and reinfect you the next time. Better being safe than sorry.Sounds like you had a more severe case because they use just one oral tablet of Diflucan in most cases. So sounds like you have a pretty sharp doctor many make you go back in to get the other pill for another office visit..Have a good weekend.hope this helps answer your question by next weekend all should be good.
Just a reminder even if the symptoms seem okay lots of time infection or yeast is dormant because the Diflucan is active for upto 14 days at 1/2 strenght so very important that you take the second one on the day the doctor told you too. Chuck1957 and the condom is just for extra precaution that it does not get you reinfected or him enough to infect you.
