The color of the bar is not the issue. Generics have to differ because of patent laws. There can’t be 2 identical formulas. They change their formulas with binders, colors and fillers (unregulated). As for the actual active ingredient, the FDA gives a wide parameter as to how much of the active ingredient should be in there. Look at the brands, not the colors. Breckinridge is junk & does nothing; Aurobinda not much better. I heard they’re going to stop making Greenstone, considered one is the best. Large chain pharmacies order the cheapest and can’t special order for you; private pharmacies have more control. But big Pharma is swallowing up smaller companies and cheapening their ingredients.

There is no difference if it is a legitimate product from a pharmacy, but if not it can be very risky especially if you're talking about the rectangular 'Xanax bars'. The fact is, they are all from generic manufacturers, except the ones that say Xanax on the front, and 2 on the back, those are brand name. The 'green hulk bars' are no different in dosage or strength compared with the GG249 print, the newer blue bars, brand name Pfizer bars, or any other professionally/legally manufactured bars. There are also different shapes, which generally indicate different dosage; this can range from 0.5mg-3mg, and 3mg is only a triangular extended release, there is absolutely no 3mg Xanax bar, anybody who says there is, is lying, has pressed bars, or doesn't know what they're talking about. There is no definitive way to tell if a pill is legit, or a clandestine pressed pill, which makes this very dangerous.
Most 'XanaX' pills on the street are not actually Xanax, or alprazolam, and neither are the pressed ones. Most probably have other benzodiazepine compounds, antihistamines, fentanyl or it's MANY analogues, amphetamines (yes that is a thing for some reason), a mix of any of the drugs listed above, and also any designer opiate, benzodiazepine, barbiturate, etc. etc. class of drug.
In the end, like I said if it is legit, there's no difference besides manufacturer and inactive ingredients. Unless there is some deep state conspiracy involving the FDA, all generic medications are equal to the brand name product. As far as xanax that's not prescribed, don't do it, not worth it, there's almost no way to tell what the hell's in there without a GC/MS machine, or seeing the Rx bottle. It could be some insanely high dose of some designer benzo that lasts 48 hours and has you blacked out running naked through traffic, slapping old ladies, or could be fentanyl and kill you within (1-3 hours maybe?). Believe me, I've been there, and VERY deep in it. It's not fun at the end of the day. Good luck with whatever it is you do, and don't buy pills off the street, go to a doctor and see what you can do.

What pharmaceutical company carrys the yellow 2 milligram xanex bars I would like to find out so I can call my Pharmacy so they can order them for me been going to the same pharmacy since 2008 And it is a mom and pops pharmacy

Walmart was carrying the yellow ones for the longest time but after Covid-19 they stopped carrying the yellow ones and only have the white ones. I am in Albuquerque NM though so it might be different wherever you are at...

Yellow is time release green is manufactured in Pakistan blue circles are 1 mg pink ovals are .5 mg white is non time released white hits all at once in 30 - 45 minutes so do greens yellows release gradually over 3 - 4 hours (they sneak up on you don't over do it ) as far as the red, blue, onyx, etc. 2 mg generics that's why different colors on those

As long as they're the same mg there is no difference. They are just different generic brands. Some ppl swear some brands r stronger than others but that's just hear say.

82% IS WRONG GO TO THE FDA SITE AND READ ABOUT GENERICS the only difference is the binders same amount of active ingredients both BRAND and Generic are allowed 3.5% difference from one batch to the next and they are tested even in the blood of patients to make sure READ IT YOURSELF on the FDA site that regulates brand and generic drugs.

My step mother is a pharmacy tech, & she said the difference in them is up to what the business wants to pay for ingredients wise. So yes, there is a difference in how they are made. The green ones do nothing for me, the blue round ones don't either, just the blue football ones did. I get 90 1mg a month & they're the round blue ones , and yes I can tell the difference from when I got the blue football ones. The pharmacy here stopped getting the blue football ones because everyone was asking for them.

There isn't a difference in active ingredients. You likely have a tolerance, which actually builds REALLY fast. if you take alprazolam regularly, 0.5mg isn't going to feel like much. Under federal law enforced by the FDA all generics must be equivalent to brand name products. So all products have the same amount of active ingredients (alprazolam in this case) in them. Your mother is likely wrong, I hate to say, unless there is some HUGE conspiracy. What are her sources? Prove it. Those are huge allegations, and I wouldn't want people to get the wrong information on something critical like this. I don't mean to be difficult but I also don't like seeing false information posted.

Only difference is the manufacturer and the binders and fillers in the pill.If its a 1mg xanax tab, it contains 1mg .I have tried them ALL over the past 17 yrs and all work the same. They may SEEM to work better/worse bc its a different brand and your expecting it... but its All psychological.
P.s. Only thing is avoid the generic MYLAN... something is wrong with that brand

The green ones gave me stomach pain and I went back to the white ones. The white ones seems stronger to me too. I'm glad I am not the only one in this thread who felt the stomach burning with those green ones.

I agree, every Mylan product I've had sucks. Their buprenorphine/naloxone strips gave me rashes, Their gabapentin, well the same thing, and no other brand does that. As soon as I stopped taking the medication manufactured by Mylan, or just switched brands, the whole rash reaction stopped.

I feel the same way I don't like how the pharmacies can just automatically give u a generic,unless ur RX is marked: No Substitution's! It's actually the health Ins.Co.'s faults but even when I've paid the full amt in cash,they still gave me the generic.

-blank- feels like it has as much (99-100%) of the same amount of mgs as namebrand xanax, not the 82% they're allowed to ship.

Manufacturer & strength. Typically now pharmacies will have a brief description of what the medication looks like. If it doesn't match what it says on the bottle, please ask your pharmacist. Also, pull identifiers are very useful online.

You can get Xanax without prescription in your country? Where do you live? I'm from Belgium and I can't even prescribe them for myself. Costs me 20 euro for a sixty pack of 1mg to. Expensive stuff. And yeah, it's even the generic brand.

I'm curious as to why you would want the green ones versus the yellow or white? I have been getting the white ones for years and now my pharmacy (not a chain) changed me to green bars. Not sure I like them or not yet.

It depends on your local pharmacies, even chain pharmacies have different distributors all around the Unites States, so that makes it difficult.
