Me and my girlfriend sex and she took the depo shot and then 20 minutes later we had sex and she had clear stuff that was coming out of her Virginia be for we had sex and I don't know if she was ovlateing or on her 4th fertile day can you get pregnant of one or 3 this 1) take depo shot 2) having unprecedented sex 3) 4th day of fertile day 5) or ovlateing

Ok if I haven't been on birth control and I had sex with my guy numerous times the other night and he came in me at least 8 times and it was like a day or two after my period and like 3 days later I go get the depo shot how likely am I to get pregnant?

If the injection is given between the first and last day of your menstrual flow, the protection against pregnancy begins immediately.
If the injection was given at any other time you should check with your doctor.

my husband n i had sex on the dayi got the shot,chances are i was ovulating when i took the shot if my calculation are spot on,well after an mc its usually very hard to know when u ovulate.im hoping thats not the case.i know they say 3rd time lucky but i dont want to hope on luck.with my previous 2 mc i was davestated, i really wont be able to handle it now,not so soon anyway.thank you for your comment hey.

I was ovulating when I got the shot and had unprotected Sex 2 days later how storm is the possibility that I could have gotten pregnant.

Most definately. It has to start working in your system before it will prevent pregnancy. You could have already ovulated when you got the shot, therefore you could get pregnant if you had sex the same day.

but wont the baby be affected by the shot then if i do happen to fall preggo.wont that cause defects?im really hoping i dont fall preggo now,i have had two mc already in the last 6months and im really not up for onother emotional disappointment.which is the reason why i decided to go with the shot.im triying to work thru all this and maybe try next year again.thanks alot for the advice .
