Can it be drawn up one day and used the next day (within 24 hours) so long as it's been kept at room temperature and away from light?

It will be fine. My doctor used to prescribe me a vial of cyanocobalamin to give myself injections at home. The vial lasted a good 6 months and remained potent at room temperature. I now take my dosage in liquid form sublingually with a dropper, 5000mcg a day. It is just as effective as the injections. You might want to consider this way of ingesting it. "G"
Best to check with the actual manufacturer as storage and handling recommendations may vary.
Oh, and I should mention that my B12 is a natural supplement sold over the counter at my local grocery store and I have also seen it at my corner pharmacy. It is common and easy to obtain.
My previous comment was not posted, but was held up as "pending approval. I was merely stating that I used to get the injections from my doctor and then she suggested that I give them to myself at home. A vial of cyanocobalamin only cost $6, and lasted for 6 months. I now buy it in liquid form from the supplement section at the grocery store. It is taken sublingually with a dropper. I was diagnosed with a B12 deficiency and now my B12 blood work comes back in normal range. Your injection will be perfectly fine and still be effective for quite a while, don't worry.
If you don't have any gastro problems that prevent it from being absorbed that way. I have Crohns disease and the sublinguals won't absorb like it doesn't absorb from the foods I eat so I'm stuck with the injections which I too do at home. But it wasn't until recently that I found out that they also have a different drug slightly
Different from Cyanocobalamin I can't remember right off hand what it's exact name is because it's the same except without the cyan. Which is supposed to have better results and here's the kicker that I just this year became aware of the cyano in the cyanocobalamin injections is short for the Lil bit of CYANIDE that they use to synthesize the drug!!! I threw me for a loop. Points to ponder. The curse is the cure.
