Can I cut a thorazine 100mg pill in half?

some pills you are not supposed to cut in half, because the outside shell allows for the medicine to be released correctly at a certain rate

I was recently prescribed Thorazine and the label specifically said to take half a pill.

Hey—I can’t see a way to delete or edit my answer, so am commenting on it.

I got home and saw that my doctor said to take half a pill for Trazodone, NOT Thorazine. Very sorry for any confusion—don’t cut your Thorazine.

You honestly should not cut your meds. Talk to your dr why you feel the need to do so. Thorazine is very important so take a minute to call the dr
