I have been on rosuvastatin 10mg per day for a month now. I am 60, very fit and active. I have had no aching muscle side effects like other users but many times i seem to have panic attacks and heart palpitations. Note these dont come when i am jogging or training. Any help please?

I have been on rosuvastatin 10 mg daily for 8 years, and I have never experienced the symptoms you have described.
Not because it doesn't affect you it means it will not affect someone else.
Not everyone reacts to medications, benefits, risks, possible side effects, potential interactions, etc... in the same way... everyone is different and reacts differently basically to everything in life, you must know this by now.
Having said that, I did answer this post 2 years ago and lightheadedness is listed under less common side effects which must be informed to one's Dr. if they continue or become bothersome.
I do research before I answer a post, not only based on my own personal experience do I answer a question, it does take a bit more time but one is being more accurate/informative/supportive on how to help other members.
I got the information on this possible side effect from Drugs.com and Mayo Clinic.
Nowhere in my response did I suggest that it was not possible for someone else to experience these side effects from rosuvastatin. I was simply sharing my own experience with the questioner.
I started with a 5mg Crestor generic, it gave me heart palps... not bad, but there. Also got some moderate, not mild, dizziness, a common side effect.
The heck with this, cholesterol is not the bad guy... unless it is Lipo (a).
Inflammation is what causes most clogged arteries.
Sorry to read you are having a hard time.
I checked the list of potential side effects you are undergoing and they are not listed.
I suggest you contact you DR. in order to find a solution to your problems.
Best regards, masso
Sorry, lightheadedness is listed as a rare side effect.
