I am just starting the full dosage this week. I have only lost between 5-10 pounds and that was within the first couple of weeks. Just wondering if it will get better. I can tell it helps some with cravings and I am eating less... just seems like the scale isn't budging.
Does contrave work better after you have started the full dosage for a few weeks?

I found that the best thing this medication did for me was help me handle my cravings. I changed my food intake and exercise. What type of changes have you made? I have done 2 different food plans. Both have worked. For the first year I counted calories. I kept it below 1200 calories a day. After that, I now count carbs. I do a low carb, high fat food plan. It may take some experimenting to find what works for you.
Thanks for your response. I have increased my activity. I have noticed it seems to be helping with cravings and the amount I eat as well. Basically what I have been doing is just eating much smaller portions, with more fruit and vegetables. I am trying to find something that I can live with the rest of my life... if I restrict a lot of foods it doesn't work for me and I feel like if you start eating them again you just gain right back. So I am trying the portion control but of course lower calorie foods as well. I have PCOS, which is a barrier itself. I have been having some soreness in my side and wondering if that will go away as I continue. Anyway, thanks so much for your response.
What eating plan works better for you?
