Clindamycin - can you drink while you taking this medication?

Clindamycin is a antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections drinking alcoholic beverages along with taking Clindamycin is most likely not going to harm you (there is no interaction listed, that doesn't mean there isn't any) but why even take the drug if your going to drink and most likely compromise the Clindamycin, for my money, if I wanted a drink bad enough to compromise my health, I would either not get the drug or not drink till after the infection was cured by the drug and then I would have something to celebrate about
