Thank you for your answer lala203 I finished my antibiotic but I finished my med's 4 month ago and still have the urge to pee a lot and the pressure but the pain is on and off ,don't have the UTI anymore its just very frustrating to have to use the bathroom so often .
Hi Wenchee, over the counter at pharmacy (WalMart) I picked up the product AZO Urinary Pain Relief Max. Strength. It says it targets the source of pain and helps with the urgency. 2 pills 3x a day for 2 days. It did help! Although, you may want to lookl it up - there are few warnings not to take if you have certain other conditions. There were also a few other products on shelf. The AZO does have a dye in it that certainly comes ouit. . .bright red/orange. Seemed to help for 4 - 5 hours. Also, bought a belt that holds 2 warm patches to wear around back or pelvic area. This was also comforting!
I don't understand, if the Cipro is such a strong antibiotic... Why is it not knocking this infection out FASTER! No Fun For Sure! Good Luck to You!
I did try AZO but it did not help me made me even go more ,I have allergy to sulphur don't know if it contained this ingredient ,i tossed the box it came in so I don't know if it contained this ingredient .I sure do appreciate your help with this have to try the warm patch and see if this helps me . Thank you again lala230
Sounds like the bug(s) you are colonized with are resistant to Cipro. If is has not cleared yet, you need to go back to the Doc and get a different antibiotic...
