Can you take Phentermine 37.5 everyother day?

All the warnings say, of course, to take phentermine exactly as your doc prescribes. I asked my doc this same question since I was very concerned about the addictive nature of the drug. She said I could so here's what I did - my first three weeks, I took it every day. The next week, I took it every-other-day. The next week, every third day. I've heard of people having a tough time coming off of phentermine, but I had no problems at all. I'm pretty sure that's due to having taken it every third day for a week before stopping.
