my mother is experiencing leg pain and coughing after using it for a month. i feel these new symptoms are related to the advent of starting on advair. i just now put the two together.
Can you stop taking advair cold turkey or do you have to ease off it?

I use Advair and don't have any problems with it, I use it to control my asthma. I would type in advair into the search engine, then go to side effects. If that doesn't work call her pharmacist, they will answer your questions much faster than the doc. I hope this helps, Sweetpea

thankyou for your suggestion,but i took it a step further today and called the company,glaxo smith kline and they told me that the steroids that are dispensed by the diskus are not the type that need to be tapered when terminating their use. thank you for your suggestion, i would hwve done that if it was later and the pharmacy was open.

congrats pledge! good job quitting smoking..i quit 3 years ago also.the best thing you can do for yourself. i hope you dont get the side affects from using advair. my mom has suffered, but a lot of people have had none or very minor. good luck..paddyanne47
