i am taking care of an elderly lady and she is having trouble taking the tylenol pm i want to know if it is ok to split a tylenol pm to make it easier for her to swallow?

Have been doing this for several years now with no unusual effects.
I know if I took a whole tablet I would be running in low gear the next day.

I think it should be fine to halve Tylenol PM tablets. They are not extended release so won't have any special coating on the top.
