Can the chewable tablets be swallowed whole?

Most chewables can be swallowed whole they may just take longer to work if swallowed instead of chewed. My brother was on Singulair chewables and he didn't like the taste so he would swallow them whole it just took a few more minutes for them to work. Hope this answers your question o.k..
Generally chewable tablets could also be swallowed as whole, however it could depend upon the medication, for more information perhaps it would be better to consult your doc./pharmacist, hope this helps?
