I have Chronic Lymphoid Leukemia and have been getting chemo and am 77 years old. Ten days prior to chemo I started on 80mg per day of prednisone. I did not experience dizziness. Some time after my first chemo prednisone was reduced to 60mg per day then another chemo. Some time during this interval, and I'm not really sure when or of the interval, I started experiencing dizziness. Prednisone was reduced to 40mg per day and after awhile to what I'm presently taking, 30 mg per day. Dizziness still persists.
I've had an MRI of my head and everything was OK there.
I should point out that on two other occasions, 2005 and 2007, i was getting chemo and initially on 80mg per day of prednisone and NEVER experienced dizziness. Of course in each case I was gradually weaned off predisone
