Can I wear my Lidoderm patches while showering?

As I am sure you will find out eventually being it is summer, when the patch gets wet, it absorbs the water kind of like a diaper and feels REALLY weird. Next time you take a patch off, before you throw it away, run a little bit of water under it so you can see what it does, it is kind of amusing :)
