All drugs state that you should not or cannot take alcohol while on medication. Since you put DVT in the notes and not cardiac you probably have more leniency. I can tell you that I drink all types of alcohol and have not had any issues. I believe that as long as you listen to your body and act reasonably, not drinking a lot each night, you will not have a problem. Each person is different and only you know how your body is reacting.
Lovenox is a prescription medication approved to prevent and treat blood clots. It is also approved to prevent complications in people who have recently had a heart attack or unstable angina.
Generally it is not recommended to drink when one has had a recent heart attack or has unstable angina, the alcohol might interfere with the side effects of the med.
However, please do seek medical advice before you drink beer, its better to be safe than sorry.
Take care, best wishes.
