The pain you describe in your feet is one of the first symptoms I experienced before being diagnosed w RA. The only relief I obtained was when the prescribed medications began to take effect. You say that you have arthritis, but not all arthritis' are the same, nor are the treatments. That is a common misconception. Have you been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis? If so, I would imagine that you have begun treatment. The treatment of care for RA is standard, and usually consists of Methotrexate. The treatment for RA IS NOT the same treatment for other types of arthritis. If you have not been diagnosed with RA, I suggest you tell your MD asap of the painful feet. He will order more tests, and from the results may put you on new medications. It will take some time, but the pain should decrease considerably! NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR. The longer you wait, the harder it is to recover.
