Answers
Hi, Heatbabe!
Yes, in some cases it's inflammatory properties can potentially help treat IBS. It has also been shown to help relieve stress, a contributing factor.
"Antidepressants such as Effexor (venlafaxine), Lexapro (escitalopram) and Wellbutrin (bupropion) can be used to treat IBS symptoms such as pain and bloating when given in much smaller doses than when prescribed for depression or anxiety."
Everybody responds to medications differently so bupropion may help certain cases but not all.
The Interaction Checker doesn't show any problems with diabetes.
