I want to ask my doctor if he could prescribe me Lyrica for my social anxiety. But I am affraid of building tolerance with it. So does this medication lose effectiveness over time? And if it does lose effectiveness, after how long it starts to lose effectiveness?

I've never taken pregabalin because I'm on a different medication that's worked well for me for years,
but I thought this link to user reviews here on Drugs.com might be helpful for you. I haven't read through all the pages but I did see people who have been taking it for years and it's still effective. You might want to check it out because it has a high rating and the reviews also discuss side effects and how effective the medication is for the reviewers.
