I take 40mg. a day in divided doses but need stronger pill.

Alprazolam (Xanax), lorazepam (Ativan), clonazepam (Klonopin), and triazolam (halcion) are considered the strongest.
Be very careful with benzodiazepines which are highly addictive. You may feel that you need something stronger because you’re habituated to the diazepam.
Since they’re prescription medications talk to your doctor to see what could be an alternative for you.
