Patient has Acute upper respiratory tract infection past 6 days.
Should Azithromycin 500 mg and Prednisone 20 mg be taken together?

I do that combination. Pneumonia may have to be cultured to be sure this works. Some of the infections are anaerobic requiring other medications.
I have ILD and frequent infections. Medium to high dose prednisone for over eight years. It will work if the bacteria are sensitive.
