Minnesota to visit family and realized really far from my house that I forgot my adderall script paper and I'm supposed to have them filled in 2 days. I'm going to be gone 12+ days. I have been on this medicine for soo long that I'd really hate to go off them on while I'm on a trip. There HAS to be something that can be done for when this happens to people. Please give me any advice that you have or anything if you can! Thanks

Hope it worked out for you. The mental health facilities in every county hair crisis walk in clinics available. Just call ask. They could have contacted your pharmacy to verify your info and/or had means to contact your Dr on an emergency basis. It I'd inadvisable to stop meds cold. Withdrawal can be dangerous and trigger very bad problem. The mental health here in the next county to me is wonderful. I didn't like the one in my county (Dr) . There was No repoir and I advice reviewing Dr's on Google too. Happy Day's

Don't worry! I would go see a doctor in the city you are in and explain what happened. He can contact your doctor too for confermation. I would think he would give you some until you get back home.

Yea I guess that's what I will have to try. Urgent care or a walk in clinic wouldn't do it, but my doctor wouldn't be working today anyway. It just sucks it's only saturday and I have to wait until Monday, and that's IF they are willing to fill it for me. This has been so much work and I feel it shouldn't be.

As if having ADHD isn't tough enough, why does getting your medication always have to be an uphill battle?

Adderall is a schedule 2 controlled drug. You have to have a written script. It would have been best if you had gotten them filled before you left home because sometimes pharmacies are reluctant to fill out of state prescriptions. Anyway, that doesnt help you now. Do you have someone watching your house who has a key who could mail your prescription? You can have them go to the post office and overnight it to you by mail. That is going to be your best bet.

Yes,I do agree with DzooBaby,that having somebody mailing you your scrip would probably be your best bet... hope everything works out for you. Enjoy your trip :-)
