Has anyone heard of this? Atropine Sulfate ophthalmic solution 1%. instead of putting in eye putting drop under tongue.

My adult son has cerebral palsy. He has a real problem with excessive drooling. Atropine eye drops under the tongue once a day has completely corrected this difficult problem. No side effects have been noted and it is covered by Medicaid.
Yes - atropine ophthalmic drops have been used in this way to help with excessive drooling.
