Today I went to the doctor and I was on Phentermine 30mg but they did nothing for me. So she started me off on Phendimetrazine 35mg 3x day. Does anyone know if this Med works better???
Can anyone tell me the difference between Phentermine and Phendimetrazine?

Phentermine and Phendimetrazine are FDA approved appetite suppressants that affect the central nervous system. The main difference between the two is that phentermine is only taken once per day and phendimetrazine may be taken from 1-3 times per day, based on need.
So they are pretty much the same... Does that mean one works better than the other???
In my personal experience - Phendimetrazine is more effective that phentermine. Perhaps the difference in my case is dosage - because I am currently taking phentermine once daily and it is only slightly effective at curbing my appetite.
However, in the past I have taken Phendimetrazine three times daily - and it was exceeding effective at curbing my appetite. The adverse effects of Phendimetrazine however, can be dizziness - and a "speedy" feeling.
Thanks you for answering my questions... <3
