I suffer from severe anxiety, depression and all over body pain. Also RLS. My Dr won't give me anything to help. I'm going to try a rhuematologist. I've heard good things about Lyrica and Ketamine. Would you recommend either of those or something else that I can get the relief I need? God bless you and thank you for your help. Ps. I have osteoarthritis as well.
Anxiety, depression, pain and RLS?

Thank you all for this personal conversation.
Ketamine as a nasal spray is very interesting.
I have a question about Ketamine iV.
Is it a one time dose or is it scheduled as maintenance?
Thanks.
God Bless You All
:-)
I'm interested in knowing that too. God bless you all.
I don't know if you are referring to IV administered ketamine but my experience was very positive even though it wasn't a cure. I was in agony for a few years and took things I wouldn't have tried if I hadn't been desperate like ECT (8 sessions which personally hurt me more than helped) and 25 TMS (which was neutral overall but stirred up hope). The day after ketamine I went back to work after missing it for 4 or so weeks. While it didn't keep me at work, it opened the door to a very slow recovery based on the energies of spaciousness, kindness which my ketamine experience had.
Take kind care
Thank you love
I found Lyrica very helpful for chronic pain. I'm not taking it any longer.
I tried 1 infusion of ketamine for treatment resistant depression, but at $800 per infusion did not take it any further. My psychiatrist allowed me to try the ketamine nasal spray, which my insurance covered, and I personally didn't find it helpful. But from all the research I have done ketamine has been proven to be very helpful for chronic pain AND depression... it has to be compunded at a specialty pharmacy, which my insurance DID cover after searching for pharmacies that weren't trying to make a few bucks ( they are out there)
It can be overwhelming, but do your homework and find a pharmacy that will use your insurance, I really hope this helps you... You are not alone and I wish you the very best!
Thank you very much
Bless your heart! I can't help with much, but I can recommend trying theraworx muscle cramp relieving foam. I have rls with muscle cramping and this stuff really seems to help. Actually, I use the cvs brand equivalent and have good results so I don't bother paying more for the name brand. I have some fairly strong muscle relaxers and this stuff helps even when the meds don't. I hope this brings a little relief at least. Stay strong!
Thank you for your help
You're very welcome!
