D-amphetamine Salt Combo VS. Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine?

recently I too have been prescribed this ( Dextroamp -amphetamine 30 mg) tab 2x daily after, having been on the D-amphetamine Salt Combo for over 15 years never having had any issues and it works well for me. I can tell a big difference between these medications the dextroamp-amphetamine does not work as well for me

My Question: What is the difference between the two stated above ? never any issues I moved to a new state and started with a new doctor who just prescribed the first one Dextroamp -amphetamine 30 mg tab my new doc is saying its all the same. I dont think it works the same. I said to my new doc ," if its all the same, please put me back on what I had been taking before. I dont understand why he wont??

I know this is very old, but for educational purposes, I figured I’d answer for anybody who comes across this in the future. They are actually the EXACT SAME drug generally speaking. Salt combo just refers to the MIX of 4 amphetamine salts that make up ADDERALL. They just say that as a shorter version of amphetamine/dextroamphetamine combination, because it is 2 different “dextroamphetamine”(dextro) salts 37.5%+37.5% and 2 different levoamphetamine salts (they just call levoamphetamine “amphetamine” for short typically) 12.5%+12.5%. these all combined to give you the 3 parts dextro (75%) 1 part levo (25%) that forms adderall and all of its generics. I feel like the one ur prescribed isn’t as strong! I take the Salt ones for long and two would give me energy and focused. But this one doesn’t work on me. I think there is a big difference in quality and the affect!

It's too bad nobody responded to this as I am wondering the same.
I have been prescribed Adderall for over 10 years,. with the label being,. D-amphetamine Salt Combo .
Today I was giving a different label,.color,shape and apparent effect being massive headache. I sometimes get headaches with my adderall,. but not long lasting despite the typical solutions they are not curing the headache this time. Mine are now white, 4 sided and says M 30 ,. very disappointed.
Any thoughts ? The distributor is Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, according to the pill finder chart,.

( The common shapes and colors were always either Orange,Pink or even Peach,with the distributors being Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc,,, Core Pharmaceuticals Inc and Teva Pharmaceuticals USA... what should I do,. not use the pharmacy I used,.which I seldom do but even still,what is the real difference, or is it all in my head? )
