My daughter had a bad, bad case of ringworm when she was a teenager. The doctor gave her creams, etc., and none of them worked. I special ordered an anti-fungal from WalMart pharmacy called BlisToSol. It is neon orange and you just coat the areas with a Q-tip. Within a week, the ringworm was resolved, with very little scarring. Pharmacies don't stock BlisToSol in their OTC meds, so it has to be special ordered. I hope you can find it. I keep it on hand all of the time. It's great for athlete's foot, which is its main use. It's very inexpensive, under $10.
If you google it, there are allot of sites that have it for sale.
Thanks KM. I haven't ordered it in quite awhile. Thank God I've not had ringworm or athlete's foot for a long time now. That's another thing. It can be kept for quite awhile without losing its potency. The bottle I have is 3 years old and it is still good. My grandson used it not too long ago for athlete's foot and it worked great.
Antibiotics will not cure ring worm. It is a fungus. See a dr and get something else for it. There are pills for a fungal infection and stronger creams, but not antibiotics. Are you absolutely sure its ring worm?
