how many of you have ? are have not ? battled weight all my life ,, yes i truly want to feel alive again and be the person i once was .. happy and care free but i know if i see the weight come back on from this drug i will stop it completly ..

countrygirl107; All great answers no weight gain with alprazolam after 10 years just watch for any eating habit changes and nip them in the bud you should have no problems with this one.

Just depends on how you respond to the medication. It is not that the medication is going to make you gain weight, but how it may affect your eating habits when your anxiety is under control. Eat sensibly and exercise if you can and you shouldn't notice a difference.

thank you .. i have been on some meds that all i wanted to do is eat .. and that is so not like me at all ... and i know the older you get the harder it is to take off lol... some may never understand once you are so over weight and work so hard to get to a healthy weight ... its a struggle every day to just keep youre self on the right track ... for sure you must love youreself before any one can love you

I'm with Pepper. Anxiety has a pretty negative effect on my ability to eat. I've never heard of weight gain being an issue.
