I started taking 20mg of adderall rx about a month ago, the first day it made my head hurt and made me feel really sleepy. The second day it was okay my head didn't hurt and I didn't feel hungry like my stomach didn't grown once except when it wore off around night time. Didnt help me focus at all I felt the same without it just that it didnt make me hungry.The second week still took it even though it didn't help me focus and today my heart rate has been really high since the morning after I took it I don't know what this means and if its normal. It's 9:12 pm rn in bed and my heart rate is just pulsing really rapidly I felt okay through out the day except afterrible I donated blood in school idk if that could affected me in anyway but kinda worried help and advice would be very much appreciated.
Adderall xr makes my heart beat really fast is this normal?

Have you ever been prescribed by your doctor instant release tablets? If those treated you better you should think of switching back. It seems very odd to me that you are experiencing this much discomfort off of one 20 mg XR a day. Talk to your doctor as soon as you can the make sure that there are no underlying conditions which may be causing you this discomfort. Perhaps a tweak in your dosage is in order. Best of luck! He actually said everything was okay and that my vitals were good I told him it didn't much help with the focusing so he desiderate to bump me up to 30MG and it feel the same honestly I go back I'm a couple days but my Therapist says it could be my anxiety and asked me if I wanted to try anxiety medication and we had a talk about that and she said she would tell him about what I was feeling so maybe in a week or so I'll go back and see if he bumps me up to 40 or puts me on anxiety medications as well but thank you so much for you help and concern .x
fleursnoires; Please call your doctor about this if you have only been on it a few days don't take it again until you talk to the doctor this is a side effect of the drug call your pharmacist if you can't reach the doctor and see what he or she says. You don't want to continue taking if this is happing and you have not been on it more than 3 days or so so you should not have any withdrawal.And contact your doctor.
I tried to call my doctor but since Im a minor I had to tell my mom but she's at work and she doesn't speak English so I'm just gonna wait till I see him again in November but do you know why this is a bad thing and why I would have to stop taking it ? I also have severe anxiety ad depression if tht help on why this is happening ??
You may need something that works the same but does not cause all the effects on the heart rasing and blood pressure etc being younger its not as bad but this can also help with the depression or the doctor can give you something else I just think from your previous post that this may not be the right one drug for you if it is going to cause all the problems it is doing and not helping with the adhd, Lots of times they can use the regular one or change it to a different one and you don't get the anxiety and heart racing going. make some notes to take into the doctor what side effects your having.
